SARMAK MAKİNA has been established in 1975 by Turgay SARACOĞLU
(Mechanical Engineer, M.Sc.) and Kemal SARACOĞLU (Textile Engineer,
M.Sc.) brothers in İncirlik/Adana. The company began her business
life by manufacturing boiler and water-pump systems.
 After
1980, she started to produce piston air compressors. With the
extension of the production, regional offices in İstanbul (1985), in
Ankara (1987) and in İzmir (1996) were opened.
In 1988, SARMAK MAKİNA made a license agreement
with Mannesmann DEMAG Drucklufttechnik of Germany (CompAir DEMAG
since 1996) and started to manufacture stationary screw air
compressors. Within the framework of this agreement, SARMAK MAKİNA
produces stationary screw air compressors with free air delivery
(F.A.D) from 1.56 m³/min.
to 42.7 m³/min.
in her factories and imports portable screw air compressors from
CompAir DEMAG. Compressed air driers, filters and other compressed
air equipments are imported from several Italian companies.
SARMAK MAKİNA is also the exclusive distributor
of SAMSUNG TECHWIN Turbo Air Compressors in Turkey since 2001.
SARMAK manufactures piston and screw compressors
in her factories with the latest models of CNC machining centers and
lathes.
 The
Quality Assurance System of SARMAK MAKİNA has been certified (ISO
9001 Certificate) by TÜV SüdWest TGK. Besides, all products of
SARMAK have currently TSEK and TSE (Turkish Standards Institute)
documents and GOST-R Certificate (Valid for Russia and Turkic
Countries).
In order to enlarge the production area of
SARMAK, 12.000 m² of land has been purchased in Adana Hacı Sabancı
Organized Industrial Zone on Özdemir Sabancı Boulevard. In 1998,
2.000 m² of the closed area has been completed and consequently
automated welding and chassis-canopy departments have been moved to
this new plant.
SARMAK MAKİNA acknowledges and thus gives a great
deal of importance for after-sales service. For that reason, she has
established an extensive dealer/service network throughout Turkey
and abroad to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
